InOurTime > 08-08-08 Daily Photo. Day 156. Is this little pier cool or what? I don't want to say where it is exactly since I think it is sort of underground so to speak. I took a bunch of shots of this makeshift pier and birdhouses and either the rocks were visible or the skyline was clear. Couldn't get both.

InOurTime > November 30, 2009 Daily Photo. Taken on 11/28/09. 72d Street IRT subway station original entrance at the intersection of Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues. I always liked this design. It's a registered historic place. It's unusual in that it's located on a traffic island. They built a similar one across the street a few years ago to add more stairs/exits. And yes, it was difficult getting a shot without cars or too many people blocking the view.
